He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kubr and Lydia Kubr (Wesely); his stepmother Helen Kubr; his mother-in-law Anna Sukstorf; his siblings, Don Kubr (Jean) and Pearl Settles (Dean); his sisters-in-law, Alice Marie Kubr and Marge Kubr; his siblings, Arnold Sukstorf (Dorothy), Ilva Hartford (Allard), Edgar Sukstorf (Anna Mae), Lloyd Sukstorf (Ioma), Clarence Sukstorf (Ruth), Ileen Hajek (Leroy) and Helen Sukstorf; his nephews, Ron Sukstorf, Joel Sukstorf, Randy Sukstorf and Ross Settles; and also, Carol Schoch (Kenneth) and Connie Wall.
He is survived by: his spouse Ioma Sukstorf; his children, Dan Kubr (Anne) of Roca, NE, Teri Weitzenkamp (Jim) of Hooper, NE and Rod (Diana); his great grandchildren, Casey Meyer (Brett), Sydney, Logan, Blake, Erin Beran (Kurt), Tatiana, Nadia, Lydia, Annika, Cody Weitzenkamp Ella (Aubrey), Dani, William, Myra, Weston, Molly Broekemeier (Derek), Addie, Maycie, Chloe, Abby Weitzenkamp, Robert Kerwin (Mindy), Ashton, Addison, Ben Kubr, Breckon, Waylon, Cari Pulverenti (Scott) and Graham; and his brother Joe Kubr. He is also survived by his wife, children, 8 grandchildren.
