He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Schank and Esther Nelson; his wives, Lois and Barbara; and his brothers, Raymond Schank, Jr. and James Schank.

He is survived by : his children, Jeff Schank, Suzanne Schank, Sandra Schank and Patricia Schank; and his granddaughter Chelsey Cameron. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
