He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Deichmann and Verna Deichmann (Botsch). He is survived by : his wife Jewell Hughes of Central City; and his children, Deb Vesely of Chapman, David Deichmann of Central City, Denise Mellott of Rowlett, TX, Deanna Kline (Brad) of Keokuk, IA and Darrin Deichmann (Roxanne) of Norfolk.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Nebraska Christian Schools or Litzenberg Memorial Long-Term Care.
