It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Smith (North Platte, Nebraska), born in Ogallah, Kansas, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lyle DeWitt and Hazel DeWitt (Smith); her sisters, Marian, Gertrude and Myra; her son-in-law James Kruback; and her great grandchild Bradley Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Sandra Kruback, Jim Smith (Nancy) and Diane Lagerman (Del); and her grandchildren, Lisa Cluck (Kurtis Willard), Brenda Johnson (Cory), Erin Thomasma (Ryan), Adam Smith (Corrie), Mary Smith (Duane) and Bryan Lagerman. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Wichita Symphony.
