He was predeceased by: his father Ed Donahue; his sister Mary Ann Brown; and his stepfather Jim Dinsmore. He is survived by: his daughters, Bridgette Kirkover (Jason) of Kearney and Bailey Donahue of Gothenburg; his grandchildren, Elena Kirkover and Caspian Kirkover; his mother Amy Dinsmore; his wife Mary Donahue of Cozad; his grandchildren, Marceline Kirkover and Naya Griffis; and his siblings, Amy Bucy, Jennifer Donahue, Vance Donahue (Karen) and Bill Donahue. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family in his name for later designation.
