She was predeceased by : her parents, Gustave Perlenfein and Mary Perlenfein (Wedige); her husband Loyd Lewis West; her daughter Sharon Kay Closter; her son-in-law Jerry Closter; her parents-in-law, Loyd and Theo West; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lavonne Fudge, Barbara West, Ruth Elverson, Duane Fudge and Logan Thoene.
She is survived by : her daughter Luella; her son-in-law Kelly Hodson of Osmond, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Stephanie Scholl (Kenny) of Omaha, Jeremy Closter of Omaha, Richard Hodson (Jennifer) of Plainview, Mariah Bloomquist (Adam) of Norfolk and Amanda Smith (Troy) of Waverly, Nebraska; her great grandchildren, MacKenzie, Mitchell, Brock Scholl of Omaha, Addison, Kinley, Paige, Kally Hodson of Plainview, Kyler, Ella Bloomquist of Norfolk, Clayton and Easton Smith of Waverly; her sister Leone Thoene of Sioux Falls, SD; and her brother-in-law Vern Elverson of Woodbury, Minnesota. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
