He was predeceased by : his parents, John Sr. Vogt and Gertrude Vogt (Dartman); his sisters, Jeanette Werner Johnson and Marilyn O'Connor; his siblings-in-law, Francis Werner, Darwin Johnson and Barbara Vogt; and his niece Regina Kay Vogt.
He is survived by : his wife Marlene Meikle; his children, David Vogt (Kim) of Creighton, Cory Vogt of Lincoln, Anne Condon (Dave) of Creighton and Karyn Steffen (Ronnie) of Crofton; his grandchildren, Ellyse Kruger (Brent), Cole, Nathan (Carter Condon), Taylor, Tessa (Trey Vogt) and Isaac (Grace Steffen); his great grandchildren, Bentley, Baker Kruger and Aleigha Vogt; and his brothers, John Jr. Vogt (Marlene) of Mead, Don Vogt of Yankton, SD and Jerry Vogt of Creighton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
