He was predeceased by : his parents, Lumir Pomajzl and Lillian Pomajzl (Tenopir); his parents-in-law, Lon and Rosa Johnson; his sister Emilie Yost; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Yost, Kenneth Kennedy, Jerry Johnson and Dean Johnson.

He is survived by : his wife Rosemary of Crete; and his daughter Renee Fitzsimmons (Chris) of Lincoln. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Crete Veterans and Friends in his honor.
