We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2021, at the age of 93, Eugene Cookus of Crete, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Cookus and Bernice Cookus (Catlin); and his wife Anna M. Sladek. He is survived by : his children, Jean (Roger Petersen), Thomas (Gina Cookus), Carol (David Fox), Spouses and Juniata; his grandchildren, Michaela Fox, Lincoln, Joseph Fox, Kelsey Sejkora and Jordan Cookus; and his sisters, Sharon Spence, Evelyn Hessheimer, Ruth Ann Drevo, Joyce Taylor and Many. He is also survived by Many Nieces & Nephews.

Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
