It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Lee Kerssenbrock of Wilber, Nebraska, born in Crete, Nebraska, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George Kersenbrock and Edith Doane Kersenbrock; her husbands, Don Sabath and Harold Hofreiter; her stepchildren, Donlyn Sabath, David, Paul and Mary Hofreiter; her stepmother Ethel; and her siblings, Janice Stone and Paul.

She is survived by : her sister-in-law Echo Easton (Geoff) of Crete; her niece Kim Mueller (Rex) of Papillion; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan and Leslie Mueller; her niece Suzy Cochnar (Jack) of Dorchester; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael Cochnar (Jessica), Valerie, Alyssa and Nathan Cochnar; her niece Cindy Kersenbrock of Lawrence; her great-nephew Elliot Bicker; her great-nieces, Naomi (Gaby Bauman) and Clara Bicker; her niece Julie Stone Eberly; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jake, Hayley, Carlee and Alex; and also, Wayne Eberly of Houston, Clara, Paul and Blake.
