He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mariska and Millie Mariska; his spouse Leonore Fritz; and his sons, Neil, Brian and Jack.

He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Sharon Mariska of Lincoln and Shirley Mariska of Crete; and his grandchildren, Chad Mariska (Amy) of Oklahoma, Darrin Mariska (Shauna) of Colorado, Denee Wehrs (Brian) of Lincoln and Tara Zuspan (Ryan) of Lincoln.
