He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Dostal and Evelyn Dostal (Boese); his wife Carolyn Cordes; and his parents-in-law, Orville and Esther Cordes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Adaela Dostal of David City and Heidi Dostal-Wellman (Allen); his grandparent Fremont; his brother Gary Dostal (Cindy); his children, Andrew Dostal and Katie Gleason; his cousin Kathy Peters (Morris); and his pet Milo.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (695 N 9th St, David City, NE 68632). A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Edholm Valley Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to the family for later designation.
