She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Lukassen and Anna Lukassen (Meysenberg); her husband Donald Wrede of David City; her sisters, Kate Martin and Peg Kay; and her son-in-law Mike Behrns.
She is survived by : her daughters, Donna Behrns of David City, Diane Wondercheck (Wayne) of Malcolm and Dixie Schroder (Bernie) of Imperial; her sisters, Phyllis Lukassen of David City and Carol Reznicek of Surprise; and her grandchildren, Shelly Baumert (Paul) of Elkhorn, Brian Behrns (Tracy) of David City, Jeff Wondercheck (Mindy) of Lincoln, Todd Wondercheck (Chandra) of Milford, Amy Peterson (John) of Gretna and Kim Miller (Mike) of Bennington. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
