She was predeceased by : her parents, John Wondercheck and Ethel Wondercheck (Karr); her husbands, Floyd Chubb and Jim Kearney; her great grandchildren, Derek Buntgen and Melinda Lee; and her siblings, Harold, Donald Wondercheck, Anna Mae Sprague, Donna Disterhaupt, JoAnn Disterhaupt and Laverne Sichineder.

She is survived by : her children, Carole Humlicek of David City and James Kearney (Connie) of Auburn; her grandchildren, Lisa Buntgen (Bill) of David City, Justyn Kearney (Becky) of Elkhorn, Bryan Kearney (Carrie) of Columbus and Aaryn of South Bend, IN.; her great grandchildren, Rebecca Gilligan (Adam), Nicole Buntgen, Coyer, Teagan, Nylah, Bodee, Lucy and Ruby Kearney; her great great grandchild Derek Gilligan; and her sisters, Marjorie Vanis of Rising City and Jeanie Hein of David City. She is also survived by loving mother to her two children.
