He is survived by : his wife Jan McKay of David City; his sons, Reily McKay (Ashley) of Columbus and Kyle McKay (Angela Flowers); his grandchildren, Jayden, Knoxon, Chloella McKay, Michael and Kenya Flowers; and his sisters-in-law, Connie Sawyer (Harlan) of Grand Island and Rita Lanzendorf of Grand Island.
