He is survived by : his wife Barbara Schroeder; his children, Steve Barlean (Gina) of David City and Patricia Gunther (Dan) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Timothy Gunther, Emily Barlean, Jesse Barlean and Andrew Gunther; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Barlean of David City, Mary Kobza of Mesa, Dianne Klingemann (Don) of Nellysford and Diane Schroeder of Omaha.
