It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Lois Stagemeyer of Elwood, Nebraska, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ludwig Rieker and Anna Rieker (Thumm); and her siblings-in-law, Virginia Rieker, Paul Fagot and Owen Stagemeyer.

She is survived by : her husband Donald Stagemeyer; her children, Sharon Fong (Brad) of Woodbury, MN, Doug Stagemeyer (Julie) of Ashland, NE and Rodney Stagemeyer (Judy) of North Platte, NE; her grandchildren, Erica Ross, Derek Fong, Matthew Stagemeyer (Suzanna), Nathan Fong (Amanda), Pamela Haschke, Ryan Stagemeyer (Courtney), Cody Stagemeyer (Miranda) and Shelby Stagemeyer; her siblings, Anita Fagot and Raymond Rieker; and her sister-in-law Shirley Stagemeyer. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested in Millie's memory to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or Lutheran Hour Ministries.
