With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine Eleanor Schreier of Fairbury, Nebraska, born in Creighton, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Geraldine Eleanor may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry L Huigens and Marjorie Huigens; her husband Alan Schreier; her daughter Lori Miller; and her brother Allen Huigens.
She is survived by: her sister Phyllis Ulrich. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (805 F St, Fairbury, NE 68352). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
