With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Karen Lidstrand in Fremont, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Karen left this world on December 5, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Swanson and Lillian Swanson (Olson); her grandmother Karin Olson (Carrie); her great-grandparent Karin Olsdotter; her son Timothy; and her siblings, Harry Dale (Joyce) and Mary (Mirl).
She is survived by: her husband Donald Lidstrand; her children, Jeffrey, Scott (Cindy), Kristin and Amy; and her grandchildren, James, Stephanie, Ashleigh, Danielle and Nicholas. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christ Community Church (404 S 108th Ave, Omaha, NE 68154).
In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested to the Arthritis Foundation.
