He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Barrett and Helena Barrett (Jacobs); his son Daniel "Danny" Barrett; and his sister Joyce Wagner. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Stolley of Fremont; his daughters, Joye Schiermann of Omaha and Tricia Hineman (Ron) of Fremont; and his grandchildren, Kylie Schiermann, Trevor Pentzien of Ohio and Lucas Schiermann of Colorado. He is also survived by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
