He was predeceased by : his parents, Vern Ostrander and Ella Ostrander (Tschudin); his former life partner Yvonne Marie Maricle; his wife Deanna Volenec (Webster); and his siblings, Donald Ostrander and Pauline Wiles.

He is survived by : his children, Mark Volenec-Hamel (Peter) of Omaha, Dixie Franzen of Fullerton, Robin Ostrander (Renee) of Albion, Michael Volenec (Andrew) of Des Moines, IA, Pamela Podraza (Don) of Columbus, Vickie Imus (Guy) of Fullerton, Suzanne Junge (Jon) of Omaha and A. J. Ostrander of Kearney; and his siblings, LaVonne Gingrich of Hastings, Verle Ostrander (Judy) of Columbus, Roger Ostrander (Gladys) of Hastings, Judy Imus of Belgrade and Jane Swartz of Fullerton. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Current Covid-19 DHM's will be followed at the visitation and masks will be required.
