It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erma Umbarger of Genoa, Nebraska, born in Ogallala, Nebraska, who passed away on March 24, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Erma Umbarger to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gordon West and Edith West (Schuler); and her husband George Umbarger. She is survived by : her children, Jerry Umbarger (Anne) of Franklin, MA, Stan Umbarger of Genoa, NE, Karma Nehrig (Steve) of Omaha, NE and Bruce Umbarger (Denice) of Pickstown, SD; her grandchildren, Mark Umbarger (Stefanie), Michael Umbarger (Alexandra), Heather Hansen (Todd) and Jason Nehrig; and her great grandchildren, Stephen Nehrig, Kylie Nehrig and Ryan Umbarger.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Genoa Methodist Church or the Umbarger Education Scholarship Fund.
