He was predeceased by : his parents, John Phillip and B. LaVerna Reeg (Thomazin); and his wife Rosalie Reeg. He is survived by : his children, Boyd Reeg (Kathy) of Genoa, NE, James Reeg (Joan) of Genoa, NE, John Reeg (Kari) of Genoa, NE, Michelle Gottsch (Doug) of Genoa, NE and Sheri Konz (Tim) of Genoa, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Jan Reeg and Richard Hinrichs Fred Hinrichs (Joyce). He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren 10 Great Grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Augustana Lutheran Church, Genoa Rescue Squad, or Twin River Youth Sports Foundation.
