He was predeceased by : his parents, Earnest Hatch and Mildred Hatch. He is survived by : his wife Sally; his children, Mike Hatch of Omaha, Terri Beguin of Gordon and Judd Hatch of Broken Arrow; and his siblings, George Hatch of Battle Creek, Ernest Hatch Jr. of Gordon and Beulah Shields of North Platte. He is also survived by three children, have ten grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for the Church of God and donations may be sent to Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE 69343.
