It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hai Im Chong of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Yul Jin Chong and Young Nyeo Chong; her granddaughter Londyn Kuinn Smith; and her son-in-law Steven Nichols. She is survived by : her children, Young Sook Ordoyne (Steve) of Smartsville, CA, Sung Yun Kang (Dae Deon Choi) of South Korea, Song Nam Smith (Tony) of Copperas Cove, TX and Seong Mi Gang. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and two sisters.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
