He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Tenski and Dorothy M. Tenski (Schachta); his sister Mary; his brother-in-law John Uphoff; his brother Andy Tenski; and his brother-in-law Mike Largent.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Calabro (Chris) of Omaha, NE; his granddaughter Paige Rearick (Ryan) of Omaha, NE; his siblings, Jerome "Jerry" Tenski (Deb) of St. Edward, NE, Daniel Tenski (Suzanne) of Spalding, NE, Ronald Tenski (Delores) of Grand Island, NE, Ted Tenski (Diane Thompson) of Litchfield, NE, Sharon Starkey (Jerry) of Grand Island, NE and JoAnn Largent of Denton, NE; and his sister-in-law LaNell Bateman (Jim).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curran Funeral Chapel (3005 S Locust St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A vigil service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Leo's Catholic Church (2410 S Blaine St, Grand Island, NE 68803). A committal service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (79143 474th Ave, Loup City, NE 68853).
Memorials are suggested to St. Leo's Catholic Church, National Kidney Foundation, or the Polish Heritage Center, 120 Howells AV, Ashton, NE.
