With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin A. Brungardt in Grand Island, Nebraska, born in Fairbury, Nebraska, who passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Brungardt and Barbara Brungardt (Dinkel); his wife Janice Brungardt; his siblings, Leona Ouellette (Brungardt), Martina Brungardt and Alvin Brungardt; and his siblings-in-law, Delphos Ouellette Jr., Danny Shannon and Marlene Davis (Loren).
He is survived by: his children, Brian Brungardt (Monica) of Gardner and Natalie Shears (Jerry) of Alda, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Teren, Brenna Brungardt, Keaton Shears (Stephanie) and Delaney Shears (Damir Gumerov); his stepgrandchildren, Kalli Nygren and Mindy DeBuhr; his great grandchildren, Kash and Kambria Shears; his siblings, Hilda Shannon and Melvin Brungardt of Washington; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Brungardt of Washington and Melvin Kolars (Victoria) of Belleville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a community of friends.
