She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert M. Carpenter and Marcella M. Carpenter (Riley); her siblings, Peggy Mealing, Pamela Taylor, Bruce Carpenter and David Carpenter; and her pets, Cuddles and Wuddles.

She is survived by : her husband Albert of Worms; her children, Jeff (Dawn Schipman) of Omaha and Corrie (Kevin Pool) of Grand Island; and her grandchildren, Jordan Jelinek of Hampton, Kristi and Jared Merchant of Glendale, AZ. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1653 Worms Rd, St Libory, NE 68872). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
