With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Morhain of Grand Island, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Poole and Venona Poole (Sorensen); her husband Maurice Morhain; and her siblings, Jeanette Ivers, Cathy Poole, Pauline Rassiter, Ronald and Leslie Poole.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Dahlkoetter (Earl), Kenneth Morhain (Kathy), Gordon Morhain (Liz), Maurice "James" Morhain Jr. and Jeanelle Grimes (Jim); and her cousin Shirley Roberts. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one on the way; three step-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Apfel Funeral Home (1123 W 2nd St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
