The memory of Sharon Loretta Michalski of Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on May 19, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jens Hansen and Agnes Hansen (Schmidt); her husband Ray Michalski; and her siblings, Lavern, Eugene Hansen and Marilyn Jonak (Isadore).
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Joan Hansen, Donna Hansen, Sharon and Dannebrog. She is also survived by Six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curran Funeral Chapel (3005 S Locust St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A vigil service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Cathedral (205 S Cedar St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Grand Island City Cemetery (3168 W Stolley Park Rd, Grand Island, NE 68801).
