He was predeceased by : his parent Ethel Dey (Eppenbaugh); his parents-in-law, Henry and Agnes Kral; his siblings-in-law, Denny Hankel, Bud Vincent, Nolan Vincent, Henry Kral and Delores Vincent; and his niece Susan Hankel.

He is survived by : his wife Margaret Dey; his children, Dave Dey (Diane) and Deb Eisenbarth (Mike Glasser); his granddaughters, Jenna Dey and Christa Arp (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Jaxon and Taytum Arp; his siblings, Ronnie Dey (Delilah) and Joyce Hankel; and his sister-in-law Ruth Ellen Vincent.
