He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin "Red" and Leola McNurlin (Messner); his grandparents, Oren, Dessie McNurlin, Leo and Clara Messner; and his niece Maggie McNurlin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Gordon (Dick), Linda McNurlin, Don McNurlin (Pat), Joe McNurlin (Chris) and Randy Jobman (Kathy); his siblings' children, Suzanne Elsasser (Greg), Robert Mitchell, Rachelle Meredith (Bill Chubb), Leanna Humble (Scott), Ryan Meredith, Brian McNurlin (Kristen), Sarah McNurlin (Matt Velinder), Laura Narjes (Ryan), Erin Allen (Mason) and Amber Horn (Nathan); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily Baldwin, Shelby Juschka, Morgan Chubb, Eva, Oliva Humble, Alexandria Elsasser, Alice McNurlin, Weston, Leanna Narjes, Aleah Allen and Cory Olson.
A service will be held at a later date due to Covid concerns.
