He was predeceased by : his parents, William Herman and Vera Elizabeth Albers (Heitman); his significant other Janet Heine; and his son Jeff. He is survived by : his grandsons, Taylor Kathol, Sean Kathol, Tristan Albers, Parker Albers, Konner Albers, Spencer Albers, Nash Albers, Karsan Albers, Andrew Jones and Jackson Jones; his children, Amy Kathol (Terry) of Lincoln, Todd Albers (Stacy Pedersen), Russ Albers (Brooke) of Hartington and Becky Jones (Matt) of Wayne, NE; and his sisters, Mary Ellen Walker of Duck, NC and Margaret "Midge" Johnson of Volin, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
