He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Leo and Josephine Bergman (Vondenkamp); his son Keith Bergman; and his siblings, Irene Heise, Edith Wessell, Wilma Hunninghake, Emmett Bergman, Ralph Bergman, Kenny Bergman and Henry Bergman.
He is survived by : his wife Virginia Kleinschmit of Hartington; his niece Virginia; his children, Steven J. Bergman (Sue Neuhalfen) of Hartington, Jane Bergman (Ivan Jelsma) of Springfield, SD and Joyce Kathol (Don) of Bow Valley, NE; and his sister Jerian Stallbaumer of Seneca, KS.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
