He was predeceased by : his parents, Earle A. Ankeny and Elvene F. Ankeny (Bisenius); his wife Alverda Gertrude Meyer; his siblings, Mauvis Mills of Fullerton, CA and Albert Earl Ankeny; his nephew Ken Mills; his brothers-in-law, Dale List, Delmar Meyer, Larry Meyer and Dennis Meyer; and his close friend Margie Kathol.
He is survived by : his children, Kevin Ankeny (Claudette) of Yankton, SD, Susan Corson (Noel) of Gulfport, FL, Joel Ankeny of Wayne, NE and Jill Ankeny of St. Petersburg, FL; and his grandchildren, Randy, Aaron, Marie Ankeny, Candice Ankeny, Lucas and Micah Corson. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
