Bill Vocke Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bill Vocke (Broken Bow, Nebraska), born in Loup City, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Darlene Vocke (Jensen) and William Vocke Jr.; his former wife Cornelia Vocke (Bernert); his sister Erma Shafto; his brothers-in-law, Delmar Shafto and Clarence Trumble; and his daughter-in-law Graci Gillming.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Gillming (Zinnel); his children, Michael Gillming, Becky Christenson (Joel), Maxine Wetzel and Lynda Pelton (Keith); and his sister Judy Trumble. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Govier Brothers Mortuary (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Govier Brothers Chapel (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822).
