We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2024, at the age of 79, Shirley M. Friesen of Henderson, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gustav Friesen and Nettie Friesen (Mierau); her sister Jennie Kliewer; her former life partners, Wayne Peters and Albert Kliewer; and her brother-in-law Ron Kasper.

She is survived by : her husband Wally Friesen of Henderson; her children, Kim Friesen (Karen) of Carthage, Indianna and Kevin Friesen (Stephanie) of Henderson; her friend Gayle Schwenk (Rick) of Henderson; her grandson Grant Friesen of Pella, IA; her friends, Garrett Friesen (Delanie) of Manhattan, KS, Karley Friesen of Henderson, Blake Friesen of Henderson and Nick Friesen of Henderson; and her sister Julie Kasper of Topeka, KS..

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the Bethesda Mennonite Cemetery Northeast of Henderson. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Bethesda Mennonite Church (930 16th St, Henderson, NE 68371).
