She was predeceased by : her grandson Chris Lovegrove; and her siblings-in-law, Wilson Asp and Geraldine Scheele. She is survived by : her siblings, Fred and Esther Lewis (Luft); her husband Dean Asp; her grandson Mike; her children, Linda Clark (Steve) of Holdrege, Nancy Rogers of Kearney, Nebraska and Mike Asp (Glenda) of Holdrege; her grandchildren, Justin Asp (Kay), Lane Asp (Brianna), Matt Rogers, Levi Asp (Cora), Sean Robinson, Brittany Rumbeck (Brent) and Brooke Robinson; her granddaughter-in-law Britni Lovegrove; her siblings, Donald Lewis and Shirley Mae Lewis of Central City, Nebraska; and her sister-in-law Beverly Dierberger (Don) of Garland, Nebraska. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in Doris's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
