He was predeceased by : his mother Wanda Hale; his grandparents, Sherman and Lillian Smith; his uncle Don Hale; and his nephew Camdyn Trew.

He is survived by : his sister Wanda Hale (Smith); his son Taylor Towery of Kearney, Nebraska; his wife Gina Hale of Holdrege; his children, Travis Hale Jr. (Desirae) of Holdrege, Taitan Hale of Holdrege and Kyser Hale of Holdrege; his grandchildren, Taivon Farmer and Alizay Hale; his siblings, Rebecca Beisel (Robert) of Minden, Nebraska, Arthur Benjamin Hale Jr. of North Carolina, Brian Hale of Holdrege and Scot Hale (Ashley) of Holdrege; and his sisters-in-law, Tera Schickerling (Rick) of Wellman, Iowa and Challa Trew of Holdrege. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in Travis' honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
