With solemn reverence, we commemorate Shirley Noar of Homer, Nebraska, whose life came to an end on July 29, 2025 at the age of 102, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Homer H. Noar. She is survived by: her children, Karen Noar, Jean Noar, Susan Anderson (David) and Sheri Noar; her grandchildren, Nicole Kavanagh, Kristin Slykhuis (Josh), Kelly Robbins (Evan Manderbach) and Claire Robbins; and her great grandchildren, Justin, Jaime Younker, Audrey, Laurel Slykhuis, Lola and May Manderbach.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the 72nd Street Chapel (1010 N 72nd St, Omaha, NE 68114). A vigil service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (6116 Dodge St, Omaha, NE 68132).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Cassel Retirement Center Foundation or Radio Talking Book Service.
