It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Schacht (Hooper, Nebraska), born in Humboldt, Nebraska, who passed away on March 8, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Perry Sr. Workman and Bessie Mae Workman (Parker); her husband Marlin Schacht; her siblings, Linda Workman, Pearl Warner, Dick Workman, Haldean Workman, Clayton Workman and Perry Workman, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Hindera, Wayne Drake, Gary Warner, Jean Workman, Pat Workman, Carol Workman and Orlee Schacht.
She is survived by : her children, Tammy and Terry; her siblings-in-law, Nancy Workman of Lincoln, Donna Hindera of St. Mary, Ruth Drake of Humboldt, Sandra Stalder, Duaine of Humboldt, Nebraska and LaMar Schacht of Falls City, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Kristen, Kelly, Justin, Becca, Casey, Cory and Christa; and her great grandchildren, Jacob Scott, Aiden John Murlin, Adilynn Rae, Wesley James, Carter Joseph, Maisie Imogene, Leland Jordan, Parker Jean, Lydia Ruth Ann, Rylee Elisabeth, Darren Alan, Selina Kyle and Linkin Wesly. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Faith United Methodist Church in Hooper or Nebraska Children's Home.
