She was predeceased by: her children, Kathy and Danny. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" McGowen of Hubbard, Nebraska; her daughter Kristy McGowen of Olathe, Kansas; her sister Donna Simpson of Papillion, Nebraska; and her sister-in-law Marguerite McGowen of Jackson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
