She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick McGowen and Rose McGowen (Foley); her siblings, Patricia Mahaney and Jack McGowen; and her sister-in-law Marilyn McGowen.

She is survived by: her brother William "Bill" McGowen of Hubbard; and her sibling's children, Kristy McGowen of Olathe, Madonna Nelson (Rick) of Emerson and Mike Mahaney (Gina) of Walthill.
