It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Elaine Hofferber of Kearney, Nebraska, born in McCook, Nebraska, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold "Wilbur" and Goldie Conner (Dillan); her brother Ethan Wellmann; her brothers-in-law, Dean Conner, Darrel Conner and Dale Conner; and her uncles, Bill Speak, Don (Betty Hofferber) and Gary Hofferber.

She is survived by : her husband William "Bill" Hofferber of Kearney; her daughters, Shawney Wellmann (Eric Neslen) of Cozad and Shannon Woodard (Blaine) of Fountain; her stepchildren, Jeffery Hofferber (Kali) of Ft. Worth, Tom Hofferber (Carlianne) of Waco and Traci Contreras (John) of Atchinson; her grandchildren, Shad Wellmann (Ryan) of Cozad, Shaley Wellmann of Lincoln, Shania Wellmann of Lexington, Kamden Wellmann of Cozad, Allyson Blum and Chaise Mitchell; her sister Lois VanDusen (Dennis) of Kearney; her sisters-in-law, Melba Conner of New Braunfels and Georgia Speak of Kearney; and her brother Richard Conner of Phillipsburg. She is also survived by seven step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren.

Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the family for a later designation.
