Roger A. Vance Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger A. Vance (Kearney, Nebraska), born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Glenn Vance and Elaine Derr Vance; his sister Vanetta Jean Vance Larrick; his brothers-in-law, Phillip Hartman, James Larrick and James Johnson; and his nephew David Larrick.
He is survived by : his friend Charlene Call (English); his wife Charlene Call Vance; his sons, Justin Glenn of Kearney and Russell Allen (Ann); his nieces and nephews, Daniel Larrick, John Hartman, Diana Larrick Benson, Heather Hartman Bernhardt and Kari Larrick; his siblings, Jerry, Karol (Grey Pickerill), Gene (Toot), Deb Call of Wendell, N. C., Virginia (James Conway) and Mary Beth (Peter Ludowese); his nieces and nephews, Cushman, Model A and Gina Pickerill Bowden; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lee and Alannah; and his friend Roger Young of Pierce, NE.. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Homes and Cremations (4115 Avenue N Pl, Kearney, NE 68847). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (4500 Linden Dr, Kearney, NE 68847).
