Kathi Sherwood Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2025, Kathi Sherwood (La Vista, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Sherwood; her parents, Lyle Edwards and Lydia Edwards; and her sister Linda Nulle. She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Rezek (Jerry), Heather Peters (Mel) and Stephani Sherwood; her grandchildren, Jacob Rezek, Ali Osborne (Scott), Landon Peters (Laura), Hannah Peters, Samuel Peters, Collin Morrison and Morgan Sherwood; her great grandchildren, Hattie, Noah and Grady; her sisters, Carma Shelley, Christa Landreth and Cynthia Jamieson; her sister-in-law Betty Stastny; and her friend Ziggy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wildewood Christian Church (1255 Royal Dr, Papillion, NE 68046). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery (2300 S 78th St, Omaha, NE 68124). During the pandemic in 2020, Ziggy, Kathi's golden doodle, and soul mate (her words) came into her life.
