It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice E. Lichtenwalter of Lexington, Nebraska, who passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clifford Wilcox and Laura Wilcox (Voss); her granddaughter Laura Lichtenwalter; and her siblings-in-law, Bryan, Denny Kenning and Ina Wilcox.

She is survived by : her husband Wayne Lichtenwalter of Lexington; her sons, Mark Lichtenwalter (Tracy) of Elwood, Michael Lichtenwalter (Kim) of Murrieta and Matt Lichtenwalter (Kamie) of Minneapolis, Kansas; her grandchildren, Linda Lichtenwalter of Omaha, Casey Johnson (Julia) of Parachute, Danielle Thompson (Blake) of Roswell, Harley Martin (Brandon) of Alto, Georgia, Faith Montoya (Shaun) of Ruidoso, Damion Keyes of Plainville, Claire and Lance Lichtenwalter of Minneapolis, Kansas; her stepgrandchildren, Sarah Sivula (Joey) of Oceanside, Rylee Cronin of Temecula and Ronni Cronin of Temecula, California; her siblings, Gil Wilcox of Holdrege, Irene Kenning of Elwood and Delores Kenning-Plummer (Paul) of Elwood; and her siblings-in-law, Kent Lichtenwalter (Carolyn) of Grand Island and Peggy Sumption (LaVon) of Lincoln. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
