It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Noble Smets of Lexington, Nebraska, who passed away on November 30, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Sprague; his children, Brent (Connie) of Lexington, Nick (Jo Ann Smets) of Kearney and Ann Smets of Lexington; his grandchildren, Braden Smets of Shelton, Aaron (Tina Smets) of Kearney, Kyle Smets (Ana Montes), Trevor (Jordan Smets) of Waukee, Hannah Smets of Omaha and Colby (Bear Smets) of Vallejo, California; his great grandchildren, Justin Smets, Jordan Smets, Missy Smets, Jaiden Nickerson, Crystal Smets and Miah Smets; his sister Ellen (Stan Garretson) of Smith Center, Kansas; his sisters-in-law, Jo McCoy of Fort Collins, Kathy Sprague of Denver and Janet Larsen of Loomis; and his pet Hunter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
