It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Lee Thies of Lincoln, Nebraska, born in Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Thies and Myra Thies (Eggers); his parents-in-law, Howard Anderson and Janice Schroeder; and his brother-in-law Warren Ueckert.

He is survived by : his wife Rhonda (Anderson); his children, Tyler Thies (Jessica) and Tatum Casart (Tom); his grandchildren, Dawson Thies, Maddux Thies, Grace Thies, Kate Casart, Rex Casart, Bo Casart and Klara Casart; his siblings, Dean Thies (Kim), Sue Steinbach (Dan) and Catherine Ueckert; and his siblings-in-law, Roxie Anderson (Clement Soucie) and Jeff Anderson (Denise).

Due to Lincoln's COVID-19 guidelines the family will NOT be able to attend from 5:30-7:00 PM.
