She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman LaFon and Beulah LaFon; her husband James L. Ballentine, Sr.; her brothers, Clyde Bruce and Donal LaFon; and her sisters-in-law, Deanie Bruce and Jean LaFon.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Muthersbaugh (Mickey), Joannie Kohel (Ron), Diane McCormick and James Ballentine, Jr. (Jennie); her grandchildren, Nick, Samantha Muthersbaugh, Race, Maria Kohel, Jessie Clemens, Kylie Ballentine, Taryn Tyshkun (Simeon) and Lexi Brychka (Ruslan); her children, Kaleigh Sanders (Rylan) and Ashlyn Ballentine; her great grandchildren, Roselina of Lincoln and DJ of Lincoln; and her sister-in-law Sharry Henke of Beaver Crossing. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Wyuka Funeral Home & Cemetery (3600 O St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
